The Run4Reforestation is the main source of income for Zomba TREEZ
This is why we are pestering you all to FUNdraise :)
Funds raised each year go towards natural regeneration, afforestation, fire prevention, sports sponsorship (in exchange for conservation efforts) and environmental awareness
As the fire (dry) season is well under way, so are our fire patrols.
The Bright Dreamers are also having one of their environmental songs recorded in the next couple of days. Tree counting is still happening, seedling nurseries are being nurtured, compost is being made, kitchen gardens are being maintained...
Lots going on!

We had 239 runner/walkers

186 Malawians
53 Non-Malawians
​
32 ran/walked the 21km
73 ran/walked the 10km
134 ran/walked the 5km​

And there were some amazing people running/walking all over the world, helping to make this year's event an enormous success!!
